RICHARDSON, Texas – April 16, 2007 – AppTrigger, Inc., the developer of the industry’s only “purpose built” network delivery architecture for the growing telecom application marketplace, today announced the sale of its Application Session Controller software solution to a large mobile network service provider in the U.K. as part of the Intervoice Media Exchange™ next generation messaging solution.
AppTrigger’s innovative Application Session Controller provides application platform developers and service delivery platform vendors with a purpose built application network delivery architecture in one system that speeds time-to-market for service providers by eliminating inefficient network connection stovepipes and solves service inconsistencies with its unique feature-transparency capabilities. Intervoice will use AppTrigger’s Application Session Controller to manage the evolving network layer for a large-scale wireless service provider, enabling the delivery of voice messages from both the legacy and next-generation networks for up to 20 million subscribers. The service provider chose the combined Intervoice/AppTrigger solution to ensure a seamless migration, ease of management and to provide a scalable long-term solution.
Intervoice has resold combined Intervoice/AppTrigger solutions, including the combined solution sold to the U.K. mobile network service provider, for three years. AppTrigger’s solution serves as a key software component to Intervoice’s Media Exchange next generation messaging solution, providing the seamless network connectivity between TDM and IP networks critical to large scale mobile service providers.
